Puppy Training Classes
Everyone wants a puppy to be part of the family, to enjoy long walks in the countryside, have a buddy to cuddle up to and to live with in harmony. All of these are possible, but if a puppy doesn’t build the right associations, isn’t socialised correctly with dogs and people or taught how to behave, the chances of that happening are slim.
This is why joining a good puppy class at the earliest opportunity is a must. Our puppy classes teach your puppy how to behave in real life situations; such as being in the house, the vets, out on a walk and in public.
Our training classes are run using the Operation Socialization Scheme. This guides you through exactly how to socialise your puppy; how to create positive associations, where to take your puppy, who to introduce them to, how to deal with situations that frighten your puppy and how to identify if your puppy is truly comfortable about a variety of situations.
Every week after class you are sent an email detailing all of the behaviours we have studied during class. This way you will always be able to look back on them no matter how much time has past. If you begin to experience problems or you haven’t trained for a while and would like to begin again our training notes are the perfect tool to help you.
